The City of Bayeux and the French State are committed to the restructuring of the Bayeux Tapestry Museum by 2025. This project is an opportunity to rethink the interpretation and presentation of the Tapestry and public engagement.
In this context, we would like to offer you, as soon as the museum reopens, new digital tools for better access to knowledge and educational material relating to the Bayeux Tapestry. This is why we are launching, in the first half of 2020, a survey of French and British primary and secondary school teachers who are required to present the Bayeux Tapestry to their students, with or without a visit to the museum, in order to gather and analyse the habits and needs of teachers.
We do not collect any personal data, the answers are anonymous and at the discretion of the agents in charge of collecting the questionnaires. They will enable us to improve our offer in terms of the educational enhancement of the Bayeux Tapestry.
Thank you for your support!
