Exhibition DDay78 – Women in the French Resistance

Consisting of 13 panels, it explains the consequences of the context of the Occupation on the condition of women, reviews the important role that women may have had in the emergence of the “pioneer resistance” and the different tasks they have been able to work in the context of the clandestine struggle (liaison officers, role of “intendants”, participation in rescue networks, daily aid to the guerrillas). Finally, she offers portraits of women who are emblematic of what this feminine resistance may have been.
